Mechanical ventilation is learned at the bedside — standing in front of a real ventilator, with a real patient, and someone experienced pointing at the waveforms. That experience is hard to schedule, hard to repeat, and unevenly distributed.
The MV-Ed Project exists to close that gap. It is a free, scalable, interactive curriculum, designed step by step, that reproduces as much of bedside learning as a screen can: concise videos that build from foundations to advanced concepts, a high-fidelity ventilator simulator with interactive cases, and a large library of annotated images from real patients.
This curriculum has been in use with great success supplementing excellent local teaching — not replacing it. It is built to give your faculty more to teach with, and to give your learners somewhere to go between the bedside sessions you already run well.
